Yup, several seizures years back, and one nearly killed me when it hit
right after Getting off my bike right before I was crossing town and
maneuvering traffic. Had I gone out on the road, i would have narrowly
survived, goin traffic or carrying my bike down through the hillside park
100 ft stairway without my helmet. So I should just look at myself as an
addict for taking benzos every day? Or is it because I also take them for
emotional pain and feeling good from anything ingested is sin? BULL

Because it’s a documentary about drug abuse, not actual, necessary
treatment.

I suppose in context you are correct however I still feel that these
medications of dependence are necessary due to legitimate patients who
suffer from various illnesses. Due to the abuse of these medications it has
actually had a terrible effect on people who need medications of
dependence. Doctors don’t want to prescribe them because of drug addicts
abusing the system. You also have people who are low on cash or just greedy
and wiling to divert the drugs to the street, it’s a viscous cycle.
I take benzos. Seizures. Pills that allow me a life, period. Not to improve
my live or make it better. I’d be dead, eventually, without these two
little tablets. A seizure can hit anytime, no warning. In public say on a
sidewalk, you hit the floor, and hit your head, some people bite off their
tongues, I did myself once partly. Sewn back in place. Memory loss is bad
for me, I lose memories. Just one hurts…. the last time I spoke to my
Grandma is gone. Don’t blame pills because you fucked up

pains of withdrawal. This allows them to work & lead a normal life.
Jus a word of hope: I was addicted to oxy for about 6 years, and ended up
shooting heroin. I was ready to give up and die, and prayed for help. I’d
lost all my stuff, dropped out of school – high school and college. Had
violated my probation and thought I was looking at prison. God helped me,
and I trusted Jesus as the One who could spare me, even heal me and give me
real life. He did, and its the best thing I’ve ever known. Look to Jesus,
He has the power to pull us out from hell’s mouth!
I understand and agree with you completely. I think it should be legal for
those who truly need and sympathize with those who need it but that can’t
get it.

So much bias, this really only shows one side of the coin, 2 sides to every
story and this documentary only is interested in the negative face. What
about the patients who actually legitimately require these sorts of
medications? Why did this documentary only cover the disgusting addicts who
abuse drugs and not touch on things like palliative care and drugs like
Oxycontin used for people suffering from debilitating illnesses such as
terminal cancer.
