Are more becoming dependent, or is there just more awareness of it now. It’s possible that more Christians feel like they can admit their problem these days rather than hiding it.

like you said we’re just coming out with it. people were drinking like fish 100 years ago and you could buy heroin in any decent pharmacy. it’s nothing to do with religion but just a fact of life that people have addictive personalities and are going to get hooked on something that makes them feel better.

  • fhornsr says:

Perhaps because many Christians, like many in other faiths, adopted their beliefs wholesale from their parents. The unexamined belief is actually no belief at all.

  • M.I.N.E.S says:

because these “christians” are not relying on the one true drug: GOD.

as christians we are not to live those kinds of lives, and if one is suffering it is thier duty to pray to GOD and get help. They can overcome it, but they need help and support from everyone.

    I have a drug problem
my drug is GOD, he gets rid of ALL problems.
I hope one day I get so high I go to heaven.

    lol!

  • bbb2165 says:

You have it backwards more alcoholics and drug users are becoming Christians. Then they are quitting the alcohol and drugs.

  • braleygirl says:

I believe the answer to your questions is both. I believe there is more awareness to the problem of alcohol and illegal drugs in society as a whole. I also believe Christians, as well as non-believers, can be easily drawn into an addiction of any kind, be it alcohol, drugs or anything else. I also believe society as a whole has made it easier for those who have a problem or an addiction to seek help and advice. Just because you are a christian does not mean you cannot get sucked into an addiction, it just means you have an ever-present help in your time of need. 🙂

    Because of weak blind faith.

  • Cherrie Ball says:

I love the way you explain predestination. I see it like that but can not
seem to get others to hear me..

  • light79 says:

Then you will receive the Holy Spirit (meaning no more sufferings and no
more burdens of being bored ever again). (John 14:27 and Philippians 4:7)

  • Tyler f. says:

Don’t keep the 10 commandments, let Jesus right them on your heart

  • light79 says:

You are only saved if you are God’s elect, chosen before the world was
created. 99% of the world are Satan’s children and only 1% of the world are
    God’s elect.

  • warningthepeople says:

We must live and testify of Jesus everywhere we go. Ask Jesus to fill you
with the Holy Spirit and reveal His truth to you. Repent of your sin and
live for Jesus in complete righteousness.

  • light79 says:

We have to do both. Preach the gospel out in the streets and teach the
other elects all around the world.

  • cocoonbreach says:

Can you show me where you find this in scripture? You have a flawed view of
predestination. Predestination does not mean that YHVH literally “picked”
or made certain souls be born. It means that He sees the past, the present
and the future and already knows who will choose Him. Please study about
free will, we have the will to either choose or not to choose YHVH. He
    isn’t looking for robots.

  • Rudy Perez says:

you need to go to the streets and witness i don’t think the lord called you
to preach in youtube and criticized churches that’s all you do…go out
snatch souls from satan we are called to preach the gospel to lost souls
make videos of that instead of criticizing churches.witness for the LORD
lost souls are waiting to be rescue JESUS BLESS YOU.read MATTHEW 7 for we
are called to be his disciples.

  • light79 says:

Yea this is hard core preaching thats why we need to preach Jesus’s love
for them before this message. Go on Youtube: We Are The Reason. This shows
    God’s love for us.

  • PRAISEHIM4ETERNITY says:

Amen. Many Christians believe that they are saved but if Jesus is not Lord
(King/Ruler) of ones life he is not the Savior of their lives either. Many
people look churches (who are dead) to be their savior…and.without
    knowing it….so disheartening.

  • light79 says:

Then God will take full control of you, to pray to him to destroy all your
evil desires of watching TV. Then you confess and repent of your sins
(saying sorry to God for all the sins that you have committed and not doing
those sins ever again. Then God will forgive your sins and grant you
everlasting life. After that you will receive a radical change, a complete
change. You will receive the joy of the Holy Spirit which is God’s sign of
telling you, you are forgiven of your sins.

  • watchmanoftruth says:

You speak powerfully, and accurately in truth! Amen brother, and God Bless
you and your family, we are facing the mark of the beast in 2013, and times
are going to be very tough but we must have patience and endurance through
the 42 months, of the Great Trib.

all these things. Joh_8:47 He that is of God heareth God’s words: ye

If something is going to scare new Christians away from Jesus, it will be
baby Christians that need wisdom listening to other baby Christians that
need wisdom. Don’t worry about lukewarm Christians hurting real Christians.
Worry about Christians that think they have wisdom and do not, trying to
tell other Christians how to be a Christian. May you be blessed with God’s
    wisdom.

First time when I experienced Jesus was in catholic church. Priest was
praying for our hearts to get cleansed and he said at this very moment
Jesus will touch your hearts. And He did touch mine, the feeling was sooo
supernatural , there is no words to describe it. I dont go to catholic
church anymore cos I dont feel the passion for Jesus, as if ppl are just
following their tradition and doctrine, but nothing else. I dont feel ppl
worhsipping Lord so I prefer staying at home.

  • SeekingTrueWorship777 says:

in REV chapter 2 these churches are talked about by Jesus Himself. And AA
is a cult I have known many in AA with much soberity decades of not
drinking and they they commit sucide…Lies from Satan

  • Celestiaetterra says:

Churches, Bible Schools and seminaries have become a hindrance to
    relationship to Jesus – unfortunately.

  • warningthepeople says:

Ask Him about his relationship to Jesus. We must seek the approval of
    Jesus, not of men.

  • Rudy Perez says:

if you don’t mind me asking how many souls have you brought to JESUS this
week or in the last month or since you been converted…when you have the
fire from above that ‘s what you will be doing.or if you witness to some
one and they ask you what church should i go to you gonna say don’t go to
church go to my youtube channel?…come on brother.
