  • Salwa Muslimah says:

Yes but every case must be looked into individually. If you read what I
wrote above you need to get a fatwa to give the go ahead to discuss such
matters of the sins of yourself or others. If you do not see anything wrong
that is your fault as a human. But in Islam our creator see’s something
wrong with it and who should we listen to? Your opinion Or Allahs Law?…..
Lots of people see nothing wrong in Smoking does that make it ok in Islam?
No So we alsways go back to Quran.

  • Salwa Muslimah says:

Yes he can go to the Shiekh for help. But not recorded and posted on the
internet. Also if it is a means of “Dawah” then they would need to seek
permission and a Fatwa from a scholar on this matter. As many famous
reverts have sought advice and Fatwa before speaking about themselves as

keep in mind he’s an addict. Many times guys in his position cannot change
on their own, they need assistance from other people. Secondly, this is an
encouragement to other sinners as well to repent themselves. Everyone comes
to hug this man which really makes it a heartfelt moment. Hope this makes
    sense

  • muhammad kapadia says:

However if one can’t control himself and is fearful of punishment then it’s
natural to consult a sheikh so they can help you stop. However I disagree
with something like this happening in front of a crowd as his sins are
being publicised and that is wrong

  • zwarriorkid says:

I thought the person who has sinned greatly should keep that sin to
themselfs and should seek help and forgiveness from Allah

  • mohammadzafar says:

    – This form of dawah is only allowed because scholars gave the go-ahead. So
yes there are scholars who support this, otherwise it wouldn’t be allowed.
Feel free to disagree, I just don’t see anything wrong with it. There’s
    many benefits to this.
